Forestry Mulching
Forestry mulching refers to the process of land clearing utilizing a single machine to cut, grind and distribute vegetation in the form of mulch back into the soil.
Along with being able to utilize a single machine some other benefits of forestry mulching are as follows:
No need to clear all trees, selected trees can easily be left on site and with no disturbance to topsoil remain healthy
No fear of erosion since not only is the topsoil not disturbed a layer of mulch is added back in providing nutrients
Since vegetation/trees are ground there is no need for brush piles or for material to be burned and buried
Slows the growth of unwanted vegetation by providing a layer of mulch to break down into the soil, allowing grass to grow back in its place.
Forestry mulching involves clearing land of small trees and heavy shrubs with a single piece of equipment that mascerates, grinds and disperses the plant biomass as mulch back to the soil.
